The Prayer Vigil honors survivors and remembers victims of domestic violence. If you have lost someone to domestic violence, add their names and a brief comment to our page.
Safety Tip
- Change passwords & pin numbers. Some abusers use victim’s email and other accounts to impersonate and cause harm. If anyone abusive knows or could guess your passwords, change them quickly and frequently. Think about any password protected accounts - online banking, voicemail, instant messaging, etc.
Safety Tip
- Discuss the situation with a trusted neighbor if you can. Ask them to call 911 if they hear a disturbance. Find a code word to use with them if you need the police.
